First off, what’s Kickstarter?
Well, Kickstarter is a campaign platform dedicated to artists/creatives/entrepreneurs who want to raise money to fund their projects. Its a HUGE community and a particularly great one for authors who want to reach new audiences.
There are some gorgeous campaigns for books. Special editions with sprayed edges, internal artwork, bookswag are frequently on offer, stuff you cannot get anywhere else. So if you’re looking to get something different for yourself or as a present – or you’d like to support an author you love – this is a great option!
And talking about authors you love, my Kickstarter has LOADS of swag related to the Flammark series. Here are the hardbacks with new designs, swag and series related maps! You can buy signed copies, special editions or just go digital.
Swag includes edition-related bookmarks, the digital omnibus, customisable bookplate.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
To back the campaign click the pink button below. Check out my OUTRAGEOUSLY over the top video and have read the story. A lot of it you’ll recognise but contined within it is a list of things that’s on offer. If you’re viewing on a desktop, the reward tiers are contained within a column on the left. If you’re on a mobile, you may have to click the REWARD tab on the screen to view the tiers. Then simply choose the tier you like and pledge!
Some of you may prefer just to buy an individual ebook, paperback – or a signed hardback. Click the ADD-ON button and you can order these without pledging on a tier. I takes a bit of getting used to – Kickstarter is an unusual platform. And that’s it!
No money will be taken until the campaign is over and the whole campaign is funded. If I don’t meet my target, no funds will change hands. All the swag will be sent out in February.
I do hope you can get on board with the campaign. The hardbacks editions with the special frontispiece artwork will never be available elsewhere! The campaign goes live on Tuesday, 10th Jan and only runs for three weeks! I hope you find something of interest. Funds will help me to recoup my publication costs and, hopefully, give me the opportunity to commission a great voice artist for my planned audio books.
